The latest novelty from AMD on the RDNA2 architecture was a discrete graphics card Radeon RX 6700 XT, but in the near future there will be more such models: AMD has promised to soon present mobile Radeon RX 6000. This data is contained on the slide, which was shown during the official presentation of the Radeon RX 6700 XT …
In general, the Radeon RX 6000M was expected along with the Ryzen 5000H processors, but laptops based on these APUs have been sold for a long time, but there are no video cards yet. When can the premiere happen? Perhaps in April, along with the Radeon RX 6700, or maybe already in March. Since AMD has promised ready-made laptops with Radeon RX 6000M “soon”, they will definitely not hesitate with the announcement. Plus, AMD is now losing the laptop battle to Nvidia and its GeForce RTX 30 Mobile graphics cards.
Now a few guesses about what the Radeon RX 6000M will look like. The series is expected to have five models: RX 6300M on Navi 24 GPU, RX 6500M and RX 6600M on Navi 23 GPU, RX 6700M and RX 6800M on Navi 22 GPU.
Navi 22 will presumably come in two versions: with 192-bit and 160-bit buses. Accordingly, the amount of memory in the first case is 12 GB, in the second – 10 GB. The fully functional Navi 22 will have 40 compute units and 2560 stream processors, while the stripped-down version will have 2304 stream processors.
Navi 23 features a 128-bit bus and 8 or 4 GB of memory, as well as 2048 stream processors in a full-featured GPU version. There are no details about the Navi 24 yet.
