Today, February 19, the new American rover Perseverance sent its first photos from Mars. Photos posted on Twitter NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover.
As noted, each photo tells a story.
In this picture, the rover is being lowered to Mars on ropes. The photo was taken by a camera aboard the descent stage.
This image shows one of the six wheels of the rover. The picture was taken with one of the Hazard Cameras color cameras of the Perseverance rover.

In this image, you can see the descent stage with the Perseverance rover passing through the Martian atmosphere, followed by a parachute. On the left, the ancient river delta that is the target of the Perseverance mission can be seen entering Jezero Crater.

This is the first high-resolution color image sent back by Hazard Cameras (Hazcams) cameras on the underside of NASA’s Perseverance rover since it landed on February 18, 2021.
