Google, Amazon, and Lenovo Set to Bring the Best Smart Displays in 2021

According to statistics, the smart display industry has rapidly improved since the last few years, with the development of Amazon Echo Show 8, and the Google Nest Hub.

The latest Echo Show 10 by Amazon will soon be adding another contender to the field. The smart displays available use voice-assistant, and a touchscreen sensor to watch videos, control the smart home gadgets.

Nest Hub Max has a face camera added to it which is used for displaying customized information.

  1. Google Nest Hub

Google Nest Hub previously known as Google Home Hub has been on market for $100 and below. It is considered to be the smartest display among others.

Google Nest Hub has  a built-in Google Assistant feature that responds to voice commands just like the Google Home Mini smart speaker. The colorful fabric design on Google Assistant smart display permits the device to connect anywhere easily.

The Amazon Echo Show 8 has the capability to respond to Alexa’s voice commands and gives access to users to browse recipes, play games, or watch movies. It has been informed that the 8-inch display of Amazon Alexa smart device is small to be used easily by individual users, but big enough to comfortably watch. For privacy, it has provided a physical camera shutter. Amazon has also come up with a new sunrise alarm feature that makes the screen brighter 15 minutes before wake-up time. Video calls can be made with a tap.

Also known as the best full-size display, Lenovo has the same features like Nest Hub. Lenovo Smart Display is a 10-inch touchscreen which has more screen sizes like 8, and 7 inch. The 10-inch display costs $250 and is said to have a bamboo back which is specially designed for kitchen.

Lenovo Smart Display was the first display with a built-in Google Assistant feature and now has a smart camera, and physical shutter for privacy, for video call.

The $180 portal has the ability to track and follow individuals in a frame. In addition, it has a built-in Alexa app which is not as secure as the rest.

The Show 5 has been mentioned as the cheapest Amazon displays which presents almost all the perks of Show 8. Compared to Show 8, its resolution is lower and the screen is smaller. It snoozes alarm on a tap.
