Chery has introduced in Russia an updated seven-seat crossover Tiggo 8, which will go on sale in February this year. According to the press service of Chery, information on trim levels and prices will be announced later.
The new Chery Tiggo received a modified radiator grille made in the form of dotted volumetric lines, and daytime running lights are made in the form of four parallelograms. The new version adds long-awaited options that users have requested. This is a panoramic roof, multi-color atmospheric lighting and electric adjustment for the front passenger seat in four directions. In addition, the resolution of the surround view cameras has been improved. The new Chery Tiggo will be offered in six colors including black, white, red, blue, gray and silver.
The engine has not changed, it is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp, which works with a 6-speed DCT6 robotic gearbox with two clutches. The acceleration of the crossover from 0 to 100 km / h takes 9.8 seconds.
The Chery Tiggo 8 crossover was released in Russia in 2020, last year the Tiggo 8 Pro version was released. The source adds that this year the Tiggo 4 Pro compact crossover will appear on the market, as well as the new Omoda 5 crossover.
