In an interview with CNN This Saturday (13), Climatempo meteorologist Carine Gama said that a new cold front should arrive in Brazil next Wednesday.
“Whoever likes winter, get ready, because the next weekend should be even colder than this one, with conditions for snow formation in the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and the plateau of Paraná”, said Carine.
The meteorologist pointed out that, with the arrival of the new cold front, it should rain in the South region, in addition to the states of São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. However, between Sunday and Tuesday temperatures should rise in much of the country.
In the North region, Saturday is “very hot and muggy weather”. In the eastern strip of Bahia and Sergipe, a cold front – associated with high atmospheric pressure – intensifies the heavier clouds and it may rain.
According to the meteorologist, Father’s Day Sunday should be “dry air, with a forecast of clear skies and no rain in almost the entire country”.
