New Dpcm, armored Easter: bans confirmed until 6 April

One year after the start of the pandemic, we will celebrate a second armored Easter: no travel or extended family reunions. The new Dpcm which will come into effect the next 6 March will in fact be valid until 6 April and there are no discounts on the restrictions in force. Apart from perhaps a crack of opening for cinemas and theaters from March 27, only in the yellow zone and with new protocols, and of exhibitions and museums even on weekends.

«The epidemic has regained vigor and the Rt index is preparing to exceed 1.

There are no conditions to relax the measures »explains the health minister Speranza. And Draghi welcomes the rigorist line.

If we trust the numbers, the rest, there is little to joke about: 25 the red zones established and Alto Adige which extended the hard lockdown to 14 March. Infections due to the English variant in Brescia yesterday, Wednesday 25 April, there were 901, almost double the day before. The national RT is at 0.99 and is starting to exceed the threshold of 1 again.

That’s why Draghi’s priority is to push vaccines. Today at the summit of EU leaders the hypothesis of a single administration of the vaccine will be evaluated to double the numbers.
