United States President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the sending of letters to smaller countries is being sent to inform them of the new duties that will be imposed. As he said, the US government plans to implement a single duty, possibly “just over 10%”, for all of these states. During his statements to reporters, shortly after his return from an event to Pittsburgh, Trump welcomed the “simple agreements” already concluded and foreseen the imposition of general duties in more than 20 countries.
