Senate approves maximum age of 70 for appointment of judges and ministers
The Federal Senate approved this Tuesday (10), under discussion in the second round, unanimously, the Proposal for Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) n°32, of 2021, which raises to 70 years the maximum age for choosing and appointing of judges and ministers.
Currently, the age limit for appointment is 65 years old, with mandatory retirement at age 75. The minimum age for choice continues to vary between 30 and 35 years, depending on the Court.
A solemn session of Congress will be convened for the promulgation of this constitutional amendment.
TSE performs Confirmation Test of electronic voting machines
The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) performs, between this Wednesday (11) and Friday (13), the Confirmation Test of electronic voting machines, a phase of verification of improvements implemented by the institution.
This new phase follows the Public Security Test, carried out in November 2021. Ukraine suspends flow of part of Russian gas exports to Europe
