A new explosion at the Etna volcano caused the lava flow of about 3,000 meters from an explosive orifice on the south side of Bocca Nuova. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanics (INGV), through the Etna Observatory, confirmed that the flow of lava is heading south. Members of the Institute are already in the field, performing on -the -spot measurements and watching the evolution of volcanic activity. In terms of seismic activity, no significant changes have been recorded. The volcanic trend is located at a height of 2,800 meters, between the Voragine crater and the northeast Nord-Est crater.
