Russia and Ukraine today carried out a new exchange of prisoners of war as part of a deal in Istanbul last month, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement without specifying their exact number. The two warring sides have often exchanged prisoners of war, with the latter being June 26. “On July 4, a new group of Russian soldiers returned from territory controlled by the Kiev regime,” the Russian defense ministry said in a statement, which posted a video showing about 15 soldiers shouting “Russia!” while they are wrapped in Russian flags.
