The film “Love Lies Bleeding” had a new trailer released this Wednesday (7), with scenes that show characters meeting at a gym and getting involved in risky situations. The play was released on the production company's channel A24.
The feature film directed and scripted by Rose Glass will star actresses Kristen Stewart (“Twilight”) and Katy O'Brian (“The Mandalorian”) and will tell the story of a passion between a gym manager and a bodybuilder.
While Jackie (Katy O'Brian) dreams of performing in bodybuilding competitions in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States, she becomes involved with Lou (Kristen Stewart), but the romance takes them into violent circumstances.
Furthermore, the attacks end up involving them in Lou's family's criminal business, which helps to further complicate the relationship.
Also joining the cast will be Ed Harris (“Westworld”), Jena Malone (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) and Dave Franco (“The Master”).
The premiere will take place on March 15, as indicated in the trailer, but the film has already been shown at the Sundance International Festival, in Park City, Utah (USA), in January this year.
