According to Avtostat, citing the press service of Geely Motors, next year the company plans to start selling at least two very interesting cars in Russia.
In the second half of 2022, sales of the new mid-size crossover Geely KX-11 will begin, which premiered at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year. Geely Motors noted that the brand’s car will compete for the first time in the D-SUV segment on the Russian market.

In November, it became known that Geely received a design patent in Russia for the Geely KX-11, which is currently undergoing road tests in the Russian Federation and is preparing for certification. The car is now copy-protected in Russia. In terms of dimensions, it is comparable to the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe. The dimensions of the Geely KX-11 are 4770 x 1895 x 1689 mm with a wheelbase of 2845 mm. The crossover is equipped with 2-liter turbocharged Volvo engines of different power. The younger version has a power of 218 hp, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds and is equipped with a robotic gearbox. The older version is equipped with a 238-horsepower engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission, and acceleration to 100 km / h takes 7.7 seconds.

And already at the beginning of 2022, Russian dealers will have a front-wheel drive modification of the Geely Atlas Pro crossover, which will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a classic hydromechanical automatic transmission. In September, sales of the Geely Atlas Pro hybrid crossover with all-wheel drive and 48V EMS system started in Russia. It became the first car with mild hybrid technology in the mainstream segment. The front-wheel drive version will be more affordable, and the Geely Atlas will gradually leave the market.
According to the results of 10 months of 2021, Russian Geely dealers sold 19653 vehicles, which is 67% more compared to the same period last year.
