New Hamas proposal for truce and exchange of hostages and prisoners – “Based on unrealistic demands”, Israel responds

Hamas presented to the mediators and also to the US its new proposal for a truce in the war in the Gaza Strip. This, according to Reuters, includes the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israel, 100 of whom are serving life sentences.
