The Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah said in the early hours of the morning that it had fired a barrage of rockets at a town in northern Israel in retaliation for an Israeli strike that, according to Lebanon’s health ministry, killed three civil protection workers. “In retaliation to the enemy’s attacks (…) and especially the attack” which claimed the lives of civil protection workers in the village of Frun yesterday, Hezbollah fighters “bombarded (…) Kiryat Simona with a barrage of rockets”, the movement said, backed by Iran, in a press release he released. Yesterday Saturday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that three members of emergency services were killed and two others were wounded in an Israeli attack on a civil protection group.
