New Home Sales in the US they fell 6.6% monthly in June to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 676,000, data published jointly by the US Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development showed on Monday. This reading disappointed market expectations of a 3.5% rise by a wide margin and followed May’s 7.8% drop.
“The median sales price of new homes sold in June 2021 was $ 361,800,” the publication further revealed. “The median sale price was $ 428,700.”

This report was largely ignored by market participants and the US Dollar Index was last seen losing 0.3% on the day at 92.65.
