The film “Strangers” , launched in 2008, founded a true franchise to call his own. In addition to giving rise to the sequel “The Strangers: Night Hunt” , in 2018, will now receive a remake in the form of a trilogy. The first feature film in the new wave of history, titled “The Strangers: Chapter 1” had its trailer released this Friday (1).
The new film stars Madelaine Petsch (“Riverdale”) and Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”). The actors play a couple who, after their car breaks down in a mysterious small town, are forced to spend the night in a remote cabin. Panic sets in when they are terrorized by three masked strangers who attack mercilessly and seemingly for no reason.
The three new films were filmed simultaneously which means the rest shouldn't take long to arrive.
The original film stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, who also have to face three masked torturers who force them to fight to survive.
“The Strangers: Chapter 1” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on May 17th.
