New iPad Pros Introduced: With Unique Stylus Function and Priced Under $2,200

Apple has introduced a new generation of iPad Pro, which includes 11- and 12.9-inch models. Both new models received the latest M2 processor, which is already used in the MacBook, but the differences between the models are not only in screen size and dimensions: the older version is equipped with a mini-LED backlit XDR display, while the younger model uses a standard IPS screen Liquid Retina.

By and large, the new processor is the only major innovation in the fresh iPad Pro. However, there is another thing about the stylus: the Apple Pencil Hover feature has appeared, thanks to which the electronic pen is recognized at a height of up to 12 mm above the display (this allows you to preview the mark before it is made). Apple says that the innovation will make sketches and illustrations more accurate. The stylus itself hasn’t changed, it’s still the second generation Apple Pencil.

Another small change is to support new wireless technologies. Instead of Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6, it uses Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E.

The 11-inch iPad Pro received the following pricing:

  • 128 GB – $799;
  • 256 GB – $899;
  • 512 GB – $1,099;
  • 1 TB – $1,499;
  • 2TB – $1,899

iPad Pro 12.9 inches more expensive:

  • 128 GB – $1,099;
  • 256 GB – $1,199;
  • 512 GB – $1,399;
  • 1 TB – $1,799;
  • 2 TB – $2,199.
