The police arrested two people, at New Jersey of USAas 30 dead bodies were found in the house where they lived dogs. Authorities believe up to 100 dogs have died at the residence.
According to NBC, when they got to the house, they also found several rabbits and cats. Nine of the live dogs found in the raid on Monday (28/8) were taken to an animal hospital for treatment as several were in extremely poor condition. In fact, one had to be euthanized.

In the property, a 9-year-old child was also found, who was removed due to the unsanitary conditions prevailing and handed over to child care specialists.
Police arrested 35-year-old Rebecca Halbach and 32-year-old Brandon Leconey, on charges of animal cruelty and endangering the life of a child, after being tipped off by a member of an animal rescue group. This particular group had given the couple money to take care of some of their dogs. However, it was reported that there were many malnourished and sick dogs roaming around the couple’s home.
