New massive Russian attack against Ukraine's energy infrastructure

Russian forces launched a new “massive attack” with missiles and drones against Ukraine's energy infrastructure on Tuesday night, wounding at least six people, Ukrainian authorities said. “The enemy does not abandon his plans to deprive the Ukrainians of light. New massive attack against our energy industry!” Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko wrote on Telegram. These attacks targeted electricity production and transmission facilities in Poltava, Kirovograd, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Vinnytsia provinces, he said. Local authorities reported at least six people injured overnight: one in Dnipropetrovsk province, one in Kirovograd, two in Brovary, near Kiev, and at least two more in the Ukrainian capital.
