Netflix's new science fiction, “Atlas”, starring Jennifer Lopez, received its first trailer this Tuesday (23). Watch below. The title arrives on the streaming platform on May 24th .
In the plot, Atlas Shepherd, a brilliant and antisocial data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, their only hope of saving humanity's future from the AI is to trust it.
The direction is Brad Peyton (“Voyage 2: The Mysterious Island” and “Rampage: Total Destruction”) and, in addition to Lopez, names like Simu Liu (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Barbie”) and Sterling K. Brown (“This is Us” and “American Fiction”) are also in the cast.
