Nokia smartphone maker HMD Global has announced new protection plans and extended warranties for its devices. The Finnish company offers a new option for those customers who are worried about the durability of their device.
The extended warranty for Nokia smartphones costs between $19 and $99 in the US and offers an additional 12 months of warranty beyond the device’s original warranty period, covering defects and unexpected mechanical or electrical failures.
The company also introduced protection plans useful for those customers who frequently drop or drown their smartphones. The first plan is for 14 months, the other plan offers protection for 24 months. In terms of pricing, these new security plans for Nokia smartphones range from $24 to $189.
