USB-IF, the development and implementation of USB technology, has unveiled new USB Type-C Power Certified cable logos to clearly indicate to consumers the power capabilities of these cables.
Certified USB Type-C cables will now be labeled to support 60W or 240W as defined by the recently published USB Power Delivery (USB PD) 3.1 specification.
In addition, the Certified USB4 logos are introduced to unify branding across the Certified USB Logo Program. They give consumers an easy way to determine the characteristics and capabilities of certified USB cables, hosts, devices and chargers.
