AKTOR will be assigned the new construction project and infrastructure improvements of the Air Base in Larissa, by the Environmental Chemical Corporation, amounting to 19.5 million euros.
The project concerns the improvement of the facilities of the Larissa Air Base and its object consists of the construction of two (2) large maintenance hangars (LAMs), one (1) Aircraft maintenance building, one (1) facility building, the expansion of treadmills, the construction of aircraft parking and the construction of vehicle parking spaces.
Also included is the reconstruction of the carriageway sections, the construction of an auxiliary aircraft parking lot and the installation of equipment. The project is expected to last 12 months and is expected to be completed in November 2022. The project was commissioned by the US Department of Defense (NAVFAC) to the US Environmental Chemical Corp. (ECC).
