Thousands of reserves are recruiting Israel with military leadership preparing a new invasion of Gaza, on the model of Rafa’s siege. According to CNN, Chief of the Israeli Defense Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, presented on Friday to Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz a plan to intensify pressure on Hamas. According to the report, the plan provides businesses in the northern and central Gaza corresponding to those in the southern part, and specifically as it was in Rafa, where the area was excluded from any help. Israeli Public Broadcasting, Kan 11, reported that Zamir’s plan also included the evacuation of civilians.
