Another repatriation flight for people who were in Israel amid the conflict in the Middle East arrived in Brazil in the early hours of Monday (23). This time, 209 people and nine animals came.
The KC-30 aircraft (Airbus A330 200), from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), took off from Tel Aviv, in Israel, at 6:25 pm (12:25 pm in Brazil) on Sunday (22) and landed at 4 am this Monday (23) .
Some passengers disembark at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, Galeão, leaving through terminal 2, and are already in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Other people will be taken to the main hall, for later boarding to their destinations.

The operation, called “Returning in Peace” by the federal government, has already rescued, on seven flights that returned to Brazil, 1,204 passengers and 44 animals that were in Israel.
The VC-2 aircraft (Embraer 190), provided by the Presidency of the Republic, is in Cairo, Egypt, and is not expected to return, as it awaits authorizations to rescue Brazilians from the Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of the conflict, Itamaraty has made an online form available for registering people interested in being rescued by the FAB.
Around 2,500 people had signaled they wanted to leave the Middle Eastern country, most of them tourists, staying in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, according to the Foreign Ministry. Candidates for repatriation must follow priority criteria.
Around 14 thousand Brazilians live in Israel and 6 thousand in the Palestinian territory, according to Itamaraty estimates, the majority of which are outside the conflict area.
