New Skoda Kodiaq released in Europe, prices announced

European sales of the updated Skoda Kodiaq were supposed to begin in the summer, but Skoda has already started delivering cars to European dealers. The first country where you can already buy a new Skoda Kodiaq is Spain.

The basic version of the Skoda Kodiaq with a 1.5-liter 150-horsepower petrol engine and front-wheel drive is offered for 29 680 euros. The maximum version with a 2-liter 200-horsepower diesel engine, robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive costs 47,280 euros.

The new Skoda Kodiaq offers state-of-the-art infotainment systems with DAB technology, Laura digital voice assistant and a wide range of online functions. Three infotainment and navigation systems – Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus – are always online thanks to the integrated eSIM card. Bolero and Amundsen have an 8-inch touchscreen, while the top-end Columbus navigation system has a 9.2-inch display. Map and software updates are installed over the air. Wireless charging for smartphones is available as an option. Mobile devices can also be connected and charged via USB-C connectors. An optional 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit display is available with four different layouts that the driver can customize.

Smartphones can be paired with Kodiaq using Wireless SmartLink, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay or MirrorLink technology. Skoda Connect online services, among other things, provide remote vehicle access using the MySkoda app. This allows the owner to lock and unlock their Kodiaq through their smartphone.

In Russia, the model will start at the end of this year.
