Huawei has announced the imminent start of sales in Russia of the new smart glasses Huawei X Gentle Monster Eyewear II.
The glasses will go on sale on May 28, 2021. For Russian users, two versions will be available, with sun-protection and transparent lenses, the cost of which will be 29,990 rubles.
Compared to the first generation, the Huawei X Gentle Monster Eyewear II has a more comfortable design, the temples are made of plastic with the addition of titanium dioxide. The glasses are also equipped with larger and thinner speakers that cover a wider range of reproducible frequencies.
The manufacturer also notes a special acoustic protection system – the user hears the sound well, but does not bother others.
The smart gesture control system has been updated in smart glasses of the second generation. To pair with a smartphone, the user needs to touch the left temple. To switch the track or change the volume, you can make several “swipes” without taking your smartphone out of your pocket. A special algorithm automatically determines the position of the glasses using sensor data. The glasses automatically pause music playback when the user takes them off, and resume if they put them back on within three minutes.
