The Hellenic Energy Company announced today the availability of the new Smarthink service, for integrated management and energy saving to home users.
The new service is addressed to all household consumers, regardless of the provider they have chosen to meet their energy needs.
It includes devices that allow the conversion of each house into a “smart home”, ensuring energy savings and reducing the electricity bill which -according to the company’s calculations reaches 19.8% for a family of 4 or 15.3% for a couple. The starter kit includes the basic control center devices of the smart home (central unit, thermostat, power consumption meter and smart water heater switch). It costs 300 euros (+60 euros for the installation), while a monthly subscription to the service is charged, amounting to 9.99 euros. According to the same calculations, the amortization of costs with current energy prices is done in 8 months for a family of four and 13 months for smaller households. There is also the possibility of purchasing additional devices (lamps, sockets, etc.) which are connected to the central unit that has the ability to “learn” from the habits of tenants and regulate the operation of heating, air conditioning, water heaters, etc. to ensure comfort and economy.

Smarthink as a service will soon be available online through the site smarthink.gr, by phone at 181133, in the stores of the Natural Gas Hellenic Energy Company and in a network of stores of selected partners. The Smarthink app is available for free on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
