New “Spider-Man: No Return Home” poster reveals former villains

Even as a dropper, more and more information about Spider-Man’s new movie, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (No Way Home) is revealed.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios this week released a new poster for the hero’s upcoming film, offering new clues to the long-awaited release.

The image shows Tom Holland’s Spider-Man facing what appears to be the mechanical tentacles of the villain Doctor Octopus, who, as confirmed in the first trailer of “Spider-Man: No Return Home”.

As per the first trailer, the villain will be played by actor Alfred Molina, who already gave him life in the 2004 movie “Spider-Man 2”.

But that is not all. In the upper right corner you can see the other famous villain Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe in “Spider-Man” from 2002, and in the aforementioned “Spider-Man 2”.

Lightning bolts and columns of sand are also visible in the background, which could be a reference to the villains Electro and Sand Man.

“Spider-Man: No Return Home” will open in US theaters on December 17th.
