Netflix released this Thursday (2) the trailer for “Eric” the streaming service's new series starring Benedict Cumberbatch (“Doctor Strange” and “Sherlock”).
The plot follows a father's desperate search after his nine-year-old son disappears on the way to school. Feeling guilty, Vincent clings to the boy's drawings of a blue monster named Eric and becomes convinced that if he can get a puppet of Eric on TV, Edgar will come home.
Vincent's destructive behavior alienates family, co-workers and the detectives who try to help him and ends up turning Eric, a delusion created out of necessity, into his only ally on the journey to find his son.
In addition to Cumberbatch, names like Gaby Hoffmann , McKinley Belcher III , Dan Fogler It is Clarke Peters are also in the cast.
“Eric” created by Abi Morgan (“The Split”), has six episodes premiering on Netflix on May 30th.
