At the end of last year, Skoda officially introduced the updated Karoq crossover, which received a more environmentally friendly interior and many technological innovations, while the body has not changed much. Unfortunately, then the manufacturer only spoke about a restyled version for the European market, while nothing was said about models for Russia, although Skoda said that the new Karoq would definitely arrive in the country. Now, information about the technical equipment of the new SUV has appeared in the Rosstandart database – apparently, nothing new has appeared in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
In the basic version, the potential buyer will receive the same 1.6-liter engine with 110 horsepower, which comes with a manual or automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The top equipment will please the owner with a more powerful turbo engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower with hydromechanics or a 7-speed preselective DSG and all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. Accordingly, the car will receive new bumpers, a radiator grille, lighting equipment with a new layout, as well as a large digital instrument panel and a touch screen multimedia system with a diagonal of 10.25 inches.
Prices have not yet been announced.
