For the 2022 model year, the Camry will receive a Nightshade version for a hybrid model, as well as new exterior colors. The Nightshade version features black wheels, body accents and badges. For the Camry SE Hybrid Nightshade, that means 18-inch black wheels, black shark fin antenna and black window trim, badges, door handles and mirror caps. Nightshade trim was previously only available for non-hybrid Camry.
Last year, a sporty version of the Camry TRD was introduced in the exclusive Ice Edge color, which will now be available on all versions of the vehicle. Camry TRD 2022 will receive a new exclusive paint: two-tone Cavalry Blue with a Midnight Black Metallic roof. The 2022 Camry TRD is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 DOHC engine producing 301 hp. and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Camry will now be available in 18 different trim levels. As before, there are three V6 trims (XLE, XSE, TRD), five each four-cylinder in FWD and AWD (LE, XLE, SE, SE Nightshade and XSE) and five Hybrid variants (LE, XLE, SE , a new variant of SE Nightshade and XSE). These versions differ noticeably in the front part, so that knowledgeable people will immediately be able to distinguish them. Hybrid Camry 2022 has a corresponding badge on the trunk lid.
All 2022 Camry models will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, which includes collision avoidance, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and automatic emergency braking. Available safety features include full speed dynamic cruise control, parking sensors with automatic braking for collision avoidance, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert. Other options include a cold weather package, a 7.0-inch instrument cluster, and a 10-inch color head-up display. Of course, there are also things like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The base version starts at $ 26,320, while the hybrid is priced at $ 28,405 in the US.
