The US forces have performed a series of air strikes aimed at areas controlled by the Houthis around the capital of Yemen, Sanaa, on Wednesday night (26), according to the media run by the rebel group.
The attacks hit several places to the north and south of the city, said TV Al-Masirah. So far, no victim has been reported.
The Jarban area in Sanhan district, south of Sanaa, was hit eight times.
To the north, five air strikes hit the regions of Al-Khadham and Jumaymah in the Bani Hashish district. These areas are known to the rugged terrain and fortified military barracks.
In addition, the Dailami Air Base, located north of Sanaa, was hit by two air attacks.
The US military has increased the air strikes against the Houthis since March 15 in response to rebel group attacks on Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab’s narrow.
