Israel released new images this Saturday (19) showing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar before the building he was in was destroyed by a tank.
The location of the video was verified by the Reuters agency based on the characteristics of the building.
Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari declared, at a press conference, that Israel’s campaign in Gaza will not end with Sinwar’s death. He added that operations will continue until “all hostages are brought home by any means possible.”
Western leaders, including US President Joe Biden, have said Sinwar’s death could be an opportunity for a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and hostage release negotiations.

He has been designated a global terrorist by the US State Department since 2015 and has been sanctioned by the United Kingdom and France.
