New York Times: The bombers that Israel planted with explosives and bought by Hezbollah came from Taiwan

US and international officials told The New York Times that Israeli intelligence managed to intercept detonators, with small amounts of explosives, that Lebanon’s Hezbollah had procured from Taiwan, and detonated them on Tuesday. The newspaper’s sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, gave some details about the unprecedented operation, for which the Lebanese Shiite party has already blamed Israel. The small devices from Taiwanese manufacturer Gold Apollo were intercepted by Israeli services before reaching Lebanon, according to the sources.
