This Wednesday (9), actress Maitê Proença, 65, announced to her followers the sale of her apartment on her own Instagram.
Located in the Chopin Building, facing the sea in Copacabana and next to the iconic Copacabana Palace, the 300 square meter property is for sale for R$4.9 million. The same building also houses singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil and socialite Narcisa Tamborindeguy. From the windows of most of the building you can see the pool of the legendary hotel in Rio.
“I am selling an apartment that I lived in for many years. What is wonderful about it and different from others in the same building is the light. It is absolutely clear, all lit up, from the rooms to the service area, it is a cheerful apartment that produces joy”, said the actress.
The actress did not reveal the reason for selling the property.
The announcement on the social network caught the attention of fans who supported the idea of “Instagram classifieds”.
“What a wonderful attitude. I loved this initiative of yours to open the ‘classifieds on Instagram’”, wrote one user. “What a cute ad, it made me want to buy. Beautiful apartment”, commented another.
For decades in the property, the home housed Maitê, her daughter Maria Marinho and her ex-husband Paulo Marinho.
According to the real estate agency responsible for the sale, the monthly condominium fee is set at R$2,800 and the monthly IPTU totals R$1,300.
