Founded in 2019, Nextorage announced the start of sales of NEM-PA series SSDs. These are M.2 2280 drives equipped with a PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 interface and supporting the NVMe 1.4 protocol. They use 3D TLC NAND memory, DDR4 cache, and an unnamed 8-channel controller. To prevent overheating, the drive is equipped with an aluminum heatsink.

According to Nextorage, the SSD offers sequential read speeds up to 7300MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 6900MB/s. Performance on random access operations reaches 1 million IOPS – both in read and write modes.
The drive is compatible with the Sony PS5 game console, but the manufacturer acknowledges that compatibility and performance are not guaranteed as the SSD was not developed under the Sony Interactive Entertainment licensing program.
The series includes 1 and 2 TB models. They come with a five year warranty.
