Another controversy involving the name of Neymar went viral on social networks this Monday (3). Last Sunday (2), the PSG striker was at the Tardezinha event, by pagodeiro Thiaguinho and his guest artists, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. In a single event, according to news sites, he was involved in two controversial situations.
In a video shared on the Instagram profile of presenter Luiz Bacci, from Record, Neymar appears in a turmoil where supposedly security guards separate him from an apparent confusion with other guests in the VIP area of the event.
During Ludmilla’s show, one of the event’s attractions, Neymar was called by the funk artist to go up on stage. Videos circulating on Twitter show that when the athlete appears on stage, he is greeted by boos from the public.
The report of CNN contacted the attacker’s press office, who said there was no confusion. According to Neymar’s communication, Bacci’s video shows fans trying to contact the athlete, trying to hold him and get his cap. “That’s why the security guards interfered”, informed the advisory, who will make contact with the presenter of Record to correct the news.
