On the same day, the football player broadcast a live on Facebook placing bets on an online site, but ended up losing €1 million in less than an hour – more than R$5 million.
The athlete’s reaction was to fake a moment of crying with the Titanic soundtrack, “My Heart Will Go On”, in the out-of-tune flute version, and then laugh about the situation.
“I’m going to make a YouTube channel, how to get into the irons (sic)”, he laughed. “This [perder 1 milhão de euros] no one has ever done it”, joked the number 10 of the Brazilian team.
“Let’s do a crowdfunding to help Neymar after this loss he must be broke”, joked one user.
