The feature has already started appearing among some Android Auto users. A screenshot posted by one of these lucky ones shows the use of two applications at the same time. In this case, the main application takes up most of the screen, and the second – a small part on the right. In this case, we see Spotify on the left in the large window and Google Maps on the right in the small window.

Users also confirmed that it is possible to switch the position of applications in this mode. The main application is always on the left, and the secondary application is on the right. To switch, you will need to open another application, it will appear on the left, and the past will move to the right automatically.

Currently, the mode is only available by default on widescreen media systems.
