The actor was announced as an interpreter of the character in May 2024. “I am very proud to announce that I will interpret Adam, prince of EtRNIA in ‘Masters of the Universe’,” celebrated Nicholas at the time.
“I have been dreaming someone with heart, humor and heroism for a long time, I can’t wait to start,” added the artist.
The cast also features Jared Leto (“Dallas Shopping Club”), Morena Baccarin (“Homeland), Alison Brie (Glow) and more.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, the feature will be written by Chris Butler (“Paranorman”) and directed by Travis Knight (“Kubo and the magic strings”). The film is scheduled to hit theaters on the day June 5, 2026 .
