Nicholas Sparks reveals title of new book with M. Night Shyamalan; Check

The writer Nicholas Sparks 59, used his social networks to publicize the title of his new book, which was co-created with the director M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense”).

Unlike typical Sparks productions, the new plot will be a supernatural romantic thriller based on an original story co-created by the two artists. The information of the partnership had already been released by the American Portal Deadline and shared on Nicholas Sparks social networks.

“I am very excited to announce the title and release date of my new book! At stores on October 7, ‘Remain’ is a ghostly love tale based on an original story that I scored with M Night Shyamalan, a brilliant visionary of whom I have been a fan for many years, ”said the author in his caption.

There, he still gives details of the story: “Romance is about a New York architect who comes to Cape Cod, waiting for a new beginning after fighting the depression and the loss of his beloved sister, who claimed to see spirits.”

While staying at a historic hostel, Tate Donovan meets a beautiful young man whose presence challenges his logical worldview. While Tate discovers obscure secrets that threaten his new relationship, he must confront the mysteries of Wren’s past and the limits between life and death.

Although the plot still does not have a date to arrive in Brazil, it had already been announced that the actor Jake Gyllenhaal will be responsible for starring an adaptation of the work.

Sparks has written more than 20 romance books-all joined the New York Times list of bestsellers-and eleven were adapted to the cinema, as “A Love Letter” (1999), “Diary of a Passion” (2004), “Dear John” (2010) and “A lucky man” (2012).

In the last releases, as “A safe haven” (2013), “The Best of Me” (2014), “A long journey” (2015) and “The choice” (2016), Sparks acted as producer of the feature films. In “The Last Music” (2010), he was responsible for the plot script.
