Nick Jonas postpones Jonas Brothers shows after Influenza A diagnosis

This Friday (3), Nick Jonas shared a video on his social networks where he reported that he was diagnosed with Influenza A . Due to his health condition, four Jonas Brothers shows have been postponed until August this year.

“Hey guys. I've caught the nasty strain of flu A that's going around and I can't sing at the moment. We always want to be able to give you the best show and I just can't do that at these shows in Mexico right now,” he mentions in his post.

The brothers apologized for the inconvenience to fans and announced the new dates: August 21st and 22nd in Mexico City and August 24th and 25th in Monterrey. The shows were scheduled for this Saturday (4) and Sunday (5) in the Mexican capital and on May 6 and 7 in Monterrey.

“You are the best fans in the world. We will bring 120% in August!”, they conclude in the caption of the publication, where Nick gives more details about his symptoms.

The brothers were in Brazil last month and held a unique performance at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.

According to Fiocruz, transmission of influenza A occurs directly, through secretions from the respiratory tract of an infected person when sneezing, coughing or speaking, and also indirectly, when after contact with contaminated surfaces, the person takes the hands with the virus to the mouth, nose and eyes.

The most common symptoms are fever, chills, cough, sore throat, headache, fatigue, among others.
