Nicolas Cage will be Count Dracula in ‘Renfield’ and here is the trailer

Finally, Universal Pictures revealed the first official trailer for the horror comedy Renfielda movie that we have been waiting for a long time to see the new Count Dracula played by Nicolas Cage.

The famous American actor is about to return to the big screen in the role of the legendary Dracula in Chris McKay’s film, which, for the umpteenth time, reinterprets the story written by Bram Stoker, but now assuming the point of view of his tormented Renfield’s assistant, played by none other than Nicholas Hoult.

In this modern tale about the loyal servant of history’s most narcissistic boss, the tortured Renfield is forced to provide his master’s prey and carry out even the most despicable of his orders.

But now, after centuries of faithful service, the devoted wizard is ready to see if there is life outside the shadow of the “Prince of Darkness”–but first he must find a way to end his toxic codependency.

Written by Ryan Ridley (series writer Ghosted Y rick and morty) and based on an original idea by Robert Kirkman, the creator of the walking dead and Invincible, Renfield it also stars Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz and Adrian Martinez.

On January 5, Universal Pictures released the long-awaited official trailer with the tagline Evil Doesn’t Last Forever Without a Little Help (Evil doesn’t last forever without a little help), which after watching made it clear to us that Renfield It definitely seems to be a comedy-horror movie with an amazing and unique twist to the iconic story.
