A man was arrested in Houston USA on Thursday and is accused of abducting a teenage girl, who he sexually assaulted for days.
Joel Micah Arnold, 34, is accused of kidnapping the girl on March 27, as it became known. He forcibly transferred her to a facility with warehouses, where he locked her for five days.
During this period he allegedly threatened her with a gun, gave her drugs and he was in a hurry.
After five days in captivity, the man let his victim go, according to police. One week later, the teenager denounced the nightmare she had lived.
It is not known why the suspect allowed the victim to eventually leave the warehouse and whether there was any connection between them before the abduction.
It took six days for the 17-year-old to report the incident on April 8 and the arrest took place on April 14.
Investigators believe there may be other victims besides the 17-year-old, whose name has not been made public.
