Security cameras recorded the moments when a man robbed a woman, threatening her with a knife, in an elevator in the Bronx, New York, before rape.
On Monday night, the man who was wearing a mask and has not yet been identified, followed the 40-year-old inside the apartment building where he lives. It was around 22:00 when he entered elevator with her, according to police.
When he entered the elevator, the man pressed a button before starting to speak to the woman, holding the knife in his hand.
The elevator stopped on the second floor and the man looked at the security camera, to then rob the woman, who seems to be giving her wallet to the criminal. Police said the man took $ 112 from the woman.
With the elevator stopped on the second floor, the suspect checks that no one is waiting outside, takes out a condom, opens it and rapes the woman, according to police. The perpetrator then left the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and police are still searching for the man in the video.
