One of the divisions that most interest investors in the SBF Group’s portfolio is Fisia, the official distributor of Nike in Brazil, announced that it will open five new brand stores in Brazil.
According to Karsten Koehler, general director of Fisia, the plan is to reach the end of the year with 35 units – the company ended 2021 with 22.
In addition to betting on Nike’s own stores, SBF’s strategy — also owner of the Centauro chain — is to make Fisia advance on the female audience, a niche where it has lower penetration.
For this, it must increase its presence in specialized marketplaces. Koehler says that in a few weeks the brand will be present on Amaro’s platform, for example.
Expansion
In addition to Centauro and Fisia, the SBF Group invests, in its venture capital division, in four companies outside the retail sector, and other businesses should enter the target in the coming years. “If we reach 2030 with 6 companies, something went wrong”, said the company’s CEO, Pedro Zemel.
The executive points out that this segment should add up to R$ 100 million in revenue in the year 2022. About Fisia and Centauro, flagships of the group’s portfolio, Zemel says the goal is to double revenue and quadruple profit in four years.
