Nikolai of Denmark, since last January 1st, is no longer a prince. Queen Margaret II in order to streamline the monarchy, he has in fact removed the titles of Royal Highnesses from both him and the other three sons of his second son Joachim: Felixborn as Nikolai from the union of Joachim with Alexandra Manley; Enrik and Athenafruit of the marriage with Marie Cavallier. And for the rest of my life I will be proud of the years I was a prince of Denmark.” Those years officially ended on January 1st.
