Nikolas Valantasis is the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the HFSF

Mr. Nikolas Valantasis, a renowned executive with extensive international experience in retail, corporate and investment banking, is from January 24, 2022 the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Financial Stability Fund.

During his twenty years in office, Mr. Valantasis has held numerous leadership positions at leading international banking and consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, Citigroup (Salomon Smith Barney), Eurobank and Barclays, in Europe and North America. He has successfully managed and implemented complex projects that required extensive expertise and know-how.

Mr. Nikolas Valantasis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a dual degree in Corporate Finance and Economics from Kennesaw State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, USA

The President, the Members of the General Council and the CEO of the Financial Stability Fund wish Mr. Valantasis every success in his new duties and in the work he has undertaken.
