Nikon not only unveiled the Nikkor Z MC 105mm f / 2.8 VR S and Nikkor Z MC 50mm f / 2.8 lenses, but also announced the development of two other models. These are compact and lightweight full-frame Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 and Nikkor Z 40mm f / 2 prime lenses for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras.

According to the manufacturer, the Nikkor Z 28mm f / 2.8 is a wide-angle lens that is “ideal for everyday shooting,” while the Nikkor Z 40mm f / 2 is positioned as a standard lens that will “easily enjoy the bokeh effect”. The easy-to-use models are expected to generate interest from a wide range of users, including newcomers to mirrorless cameras, as they are “ideal for a wide variety of everyday scenes and situations.”
Both models are slated for release this year.
